Can you tell us more about the recent Absolute Elvis and Cher and Shania Twain concerts at Church Hill Theatre? Were these concerts part of a wider tour?

Cher and Shania Twain toured around the country, and Absolute Elvis went all over, including to Glasgow and Stirling. We had just over 200 attendees at each show at Church Hill Theatre, which we were very pleased with as both concerts were held on a Thursday night which can sometimes impact attendance. They went very well.

Why did you choose Edinburgh as a host city for the concerts and what made Church Hill Theatre stand out as the place to hold the concerts?

We were looking for a venue in Edinburgh as we knew we wanted to put on a show in the Scottish capital. We decided to use the Church Hill Theatre as it has a great track record hosting tribute acts. I’m a hypnotist and I performed in the theatre myself around 10 years ago so I already knew about it – it’s a nice venue.

How did Church Hill Theatre assist with the planning and the event delivery on the day?

The staff were all great and very helpful. The whole process was perfect from start to finish.

Would you recommend the Church Hill Theatre?

Definitely. It is ideal for mid-week shows and very competitively priced. I actually have another show booked in at the theatre for 16 October, this time ‘The Freddie & Queen Experience’.
