SOUTH MORNINGSIDE STAGE CLUB returns for another year with another BRAND NEW ORIGINAL SHOW. MacTilda will take to the stage in March 2025.
Our show is based on the Roald Dahl classic, as well as inspired by the musical version by RCS. But it's a Stage Club show after all so expect some twists and turns!
Matilda has the brains, the wit... and some super awesome powers!
Unloved and overlooked by her cruel parents - she take solace in books and creating her own stories (which might just come to life). She finds comfort in some friends and her school teacher, Miss Honey.
School life isn't completely smooth sailing as The Trunchbull, Cruncheon Academy Headteacher, is out to make everyone's life miserable.
but we all know that good will always overcome evil.
Matilda has courage and confidence to save the day.
